As an avid traveler my entire life, I’ve learned the value of top travel resources. From packing essentials to budget car rentals and air transportation, it’s always easier to have a list set out in front of you.
These are the resources I use and love. I would never recommend something I do not believe in.

What To Pack
SOLGAARD SUITCASE: This suitcase is organized so you don’t have to be! You have to take a look at the fold-out closet and the cool backpacks. (Plus this company is very environmentally friendly).
DOWNLITE PILLOW: Pillows make all the difference on how (or IF) you get a good night’s sleep! I travel with my feather pillow so no matter what the conditions in a hotel, I know I’m going to sleep. It’s a necessity for me. (Last time I checked there was a 20% discount with this link).
WATER BOTTLE: There are a lot of different water bottles out there, but My Bevi really impressed me when I left a bottle (the Outlander) in a truck on a 95-degree day and still had ice when I returned!

Flight Search Engines
TRIPELLO : This new membership-based travel booking site offers the best rates for flights, hotel rooms and car rentals. They also have a Freemium membership for hotel rooms only. See below.
FAREDROP: When you sign up for FareDrop, you tell them what airports are near you and where you want to go. Then you receive alerts for deals that can be as much as 80% off.
CHEAPAIR: I like to check this site as well. It can also be used to find hotel rooms.
KAYAK: Another great place to search for flights and hotels.
Best Accommodations
TRIPELLO: Check out this new booking site for hotel rooms. You can sign up for a “Freemium” membership and still save money!
BOOKING.COM: Great place to explore when seeking hotels or B&B’s in a new town or city like Atlantic Beach.
HOTELS.COM: This is my go-to site just because I’ve used it so long. You get a free stay after 10 bookings, which as really added up for me over the years.

CLOTHING/SHOES
SCOTTeVEST: I can’t carry a purse or I will kill my back so I need pockets! ScotteVest lets you carry everything… I mean everything.
ALLBIRDS: My absolutely favorite walking sneaker. Most comfie shoe I’ve ever worn.
ORTHOFEET: I do a lot of walking when I explore new places so good shoes are a must. I bought a pair of sturdy sandals from Orthofeet.
COMBAT FLIP-FLOPS: I am a flip-flop expert because when I travel in the summer, I do a lot of flip-flop walking (like 5-7 miles). Combat Flip-Flops are veteran owned and operated. I love them!
SIGHTSEEING/TOURS
VIATOR: My go-to place when looking for a tour in a new city or town.
GETYOURGUIDE: Another place to find tours, especially outside the U.S.
CITY SIGHTSEEING: If you’re traveling to a city that offers these hop on-hop off buses, I encourage you do it. You really learn a lot about the destination.
RV RENTALS
RVSHARE: Can’t wait to give this a try, and thought it worth a mention. Why drive your own car when you can rent an RV?
PHONES
For a great travel phone with one of the best cameras, I use the Samsung S23 Ultra. (Carrying a camera kills my back, so this is a great alternative).
GENERATORS/POWER STATIONS
ECOFLOW: For peace of mind, it’s nice to have a small power station when you travel, and being able to use solar power is a bonus.
JACKERY: I like that they have lots of options and sizes available, from whole-house generators to camping and traveling units.
