Tips For Traveling With A Pet

When traveling with a pet, it’s important to bring along some essential items to ensure their comfort and safety.

One of the most important things is to make sure your pet is comfortable while traveling.

Here are some items that I personally recommend for travel:

Pet Crate: There are many different types of carriers or crates, but I recommend this Pet Crate because of its handle and durability. Some people like the soft canvas crates, but because dogs sometimes act differently when stressed during travel, I go with the foldable metal crate.

Travel Bag: I LOVE this 6-piece travel bag! Packing for a pet is almost as complicated as packing for a toddler, and this helps keep everything organized and handy. Includes food containers and collapsible bowls, as well as storage for toys and poop bags.

Water Bowl: I thought the collapsible water bowls were great, but now they have handy no-leak water bottle dispensers. No pouring!

Don’t forget to pack, favorite toys and any medications as well as a pet first aid kit.

Lastly, make sure your pet is wearing a collar with an ID that has your phone number. My new rescue dog is an escape artist, so this is a must for me! (Plus, she’s chipped of course).
